Energy

I began doing energy work in the late 90's, though my love affair with animals has been lifelong.  Even as a child, I knew 'their' brand of unconditional love was something rare and wonderful. 

A house just wasn't a 'home' without one or more around, and a world without them was simply unimaginable to me. 

When I began doing energy sessions, clients would often comment that their animals seemed to gather around, wanting to be close to the energy, too. 

Sometimes animals would come up to me and simply put a paw on my leg or snuggle next to me since they tend to be very sensitive to energy changes in their environment.  

Many years ago, a new friend unaware of my energy work, seemed very surprised by her animal's behavior and shared the following:

"Our 18-year old cat usually hides when people come to visit but when you come over, she follows you all around the house, just wanting to be close to you." 

Since I kept getting more and more requests from people to work on their animals, I realized that they, too, were to be an important component of my energy work.

During his post-surgery follow-up visit, the vet and office staff expressed surprise that he was healing so quickly and asked his person why?  She told them:

"It's because he's been receiving healing treatments by an energy practitioner."

 That's the power of Quantum Energy.

 About

I first became interested in the concept of 'energy' as a healing tool when someone from overseas introduced me to it.

This led to my becoming a Reiki Master-Teacher, certified in the Usui Traditional Reiki System* with additional Karuna symbols.

As I continued practicing on both people and animals, I learned to simply 'allow' the energies to flow through me.  

I then obtained additional Energy Attunements in Seichem and Sacred Flames.  I also studied Clearing, Balancing, EFT, and QiGong, as well as, various healing tools. 

I started teaching Reiki, along with other energy-related classes, in the late 90's since I thought everyone should be able to benefit from the beauty and power of these amazing modalities that could help the body heal itself. 

It seemed such a wonderful win-win concept, since as each person and animal improved, the energies of the entire planet also shifted.

Although my traditional education involved International studies, my ongoing passion has always been studying, exploring, and teaching spiritual concepts and energy modalities.

So I offer this heartfelt energy for our beloved companions in humble gratitude for all the amazing gifts they shower on us, especially unconditional love.  

They are truly a blessing to us and it's definitely 'their' time to receive.

* Dr. Mikao Usui is the founder of the Usui Traditional System of Reiki, developed in the 1800's and now practiced around the world.
